The best conference in college football could be about to get even better as Texas and Oklahoma join the SEC starting this summer in one of the bombshell conference realignment moves set to become official in time for the 2024 college football season. And with that in mind, the SEC gave us a preview of coming attractions by announcing its entire football schedule for the year to come.

Texas kicks off its SEC conference slate against Mississippi State at home on Sept. 28, and three weeks later, the Longhorns will get a crack at Georgia. Oklahoma whets its beak in conference play against Tennessee at home on Sept. 21.

The 2024 season will also mark the first in the SEC without divisions since 1991 when the original format was introduced. Going forward, it'll no longer be East vs. West in the SEC Championship Game, but the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the standings.
