College football expansion and conference realignment will pick up again officially as the month of July begins, with 14 schools set to finally make the jump from their former conferences to their new home in time for the 2023 football season. In total, that number represents more than 10 percent of the current FBS.

And when you take into consideration the two bombshell moves that will take place next summer on that date — when Texas and Oklahoma will officially leave the Big 12 and join the SEC, and USC along with UCLA will depart the Pac-12 for the Big Ten — by this time next summer a full one-fifth of FBS schools will have moved since 2022.

Here's your reminder for which teams are going where in time for the season.

Big 12

Who's coming in: BYU, Houston, Cincinnati, UCF

What the Big 12 looks like now: Baylor, BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, UCF, West Virginia

Why the moves? Because after losing Texas and Oklahoma — or rather when they do in the summer of 2024 — the Big 12 got aggressive looking for teams to replace that firepower, landing four solid additions, including a Texas-based school in Houston and a team that made the College Football Playoff (Cincinnati).

AAC

Who's coming in: Charlotte, FAU, North Texas, Rice, UAB, UTSA

Who's going out: Houston, UCF, Cincinnati

What the AAC looks like now: Charlotte, East Carolina, FAU, Memphis, Navy, North Texas, Rice, SMU, Temple, Tulane, Tulsa, UAB, USF, UTSA, Wichita State (except football)

Why the moves? After getting poached by the Big 12 in that league's expansion efforts, the American responded by adding schools in Texas to reaffirm its commitment to the state in terms of market and recruiting access.

Conference USA

Who's coming in: Liberty, New Mexico State, Sam Houston, Jacksonville State

Who's going out: Charlotte, FAU, North Texas, Rice, UAB, UTSA

What CUSA looks like now: FIU, Jacksonville State, Liberty, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, New Mexico State, Sam Houston, UTEP, Western Kentucky

Why the moves? Because it had to respond to the AAC taking its teams after that league responded to losing its teams to the Big 12.

Sun Belt (2022 changes)

Who's coming in: Marshall, Old Dominion, Southern Miss, James Madison

What the Sun Belt looks like now: Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, James Madison, Louisiana, Marshall, Old Dominion, South Alabama, Southern Miaa, Texas State, Troy, Louisiana-Monroe
