No. 1 2024 college football recruit Dylan Raiola is keeping a close eye on Georgia as the two-time national champion has emerged as the favorite to sign the quarterback.

Now, Georgia is undergoing some major coaching turnover after offensive coordinator Todd Monken left to take the same position with the Baltimore Ravens, replaced by Mike Bobo to lead the team's offense.

How does that affect Raiola's interest in Georgia? Not very much as it turns out.

Dylan Raiola's father reacts to Georgia coaching change

"I don't think it affects much right now," Dominic, Raiola's father and a 12-year NFL veteran, told 247Sports. "There was always a chance of that happening."

Moreover, the prospect's father said that it's a good sign for a football program when its assistants are recruited by the NFL.

"That's a sign of a good program when your coaches are continuously wanted and they make steps in the coaching ranks," he added.

Mike Bobo at Georgia

Bobo is a former Broyles Award winner, given to the top college football assistant, and has experience developing Matthew Stafford at Georgia during his first stint with the school as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Raiola's father and Stafford were teammates with the Detroit Lions and he has high praise for Bobo.

"Having experience with Bobo and having people that know him, it helps to know who the next guy is for Dylan," Raiola, Sr. said.

"The first we met [Bobo], maybe last April or March, and Stafford has nothing but great things to say about him, always has."

Dylan Raiola was an Ohio State pledge

Initially, the quarterback announced he had committed to Ohio State as the most high-profile get for the Buckeyes' future 2024 recruiting class.

But Raiola changed his mind at the start of the new year and revealed that he de-committed from Ohio State.

That surprising news re-opened the player's recruiting process in a big way and changed the course of the 2024 football recruiting cycle.

Starting from scratch

"Everything is back on the table," Raiola's father told 247Sports recruiting director Steve Wiltfong recently.

He added, "His process is almost like it's re-starting. It's not closed off to anybody."

Standing at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds from Arizona, Raiola has made a name for himself as a superstar in the 2024 football recruiting class.
