No. 1 transfer RB Quinshon Judkins will play for Ohio State in 2024
On the night Michigan won the national championship, Ohio State still has some cause for celebration after No. 1 transfer running back and former Ole Miss starting rusher Quinshon Judkins announced he committed to the Buckeyes for the 2024 college football season.

Ohio State struggled rushing the ball at times this past season, ranking just No. 88 nationally by averaging 138.8 rushing yards per game. As of Judkins' announcement, lead back TreVeyon Henderson is yet to announce his plans for 2024.
Ohio State scored another notable offensive player in the transfer portal after veteran quarterback Will Howard announced his intention to play for the Buckeyes, a key addition after 2023 starter Kyle McCord transferred to Syracuse this offseason.

Judkins became the first player in SEC football history to score 15-plus touchdowns in each of his first two seasons with a school.
This season, the Pike Road, Ala., native rushed 271 times for 1,158 yards and scored 15 touchdowns, catching 22 passes for 149 yards and 2 additional touchdowns. Judkins averaged 4.3 yards per rushing attempt in the 2023 campaign.
He accounted for 50.4 percent of Ole Miss' rushing yards and 52 percent of the team's rushing touchdowns.
A year ago, Judkins had 274 rushing attempts for 1,567 total yards and 16 touchdowns while averaging 5.7 yards per attempt. Those numbers accounted for 47 percent of the Rebels' rushing yards and 48 percent of their rushing touchdowns.
In total, Judkins ran for 2,725 yards with 34 total touchdowns the last two seasons, and led the SEC in rushing yardage production in each of those years.
