Five-star 2023 quarterback and consensus No. 1 overall player Arch Manning returned to Athens over the weekend for another up-close look at the Georgia football program.

This was Manning's third visit to the campus, having visited last summer in person and again last fall during Georgia's home game against South Carolina.

Georgia, the defending College Football Playoff national champion, is considered one of the favorites to sign Manning, along with Alabama, Texas, and Ole Miss.

Nelson Stewart, Manning's head coach at Isidore Newman High in New Orleans, said the quarterback and his family were impressed with every aspect of the Georgia visit.

"Both he and his dad loved the organization of practice," Stewart said, via 247Sports

"It was really, just everybody was always moving. They loved the meetings and installs with Coach Monken. It sounded like the structure was just great. Everything flowed and the attention to detail. The energy Kirby has, you see on the sideline, coaching all his players, not just one specific group."

Stewart added the Mannings "love the facilities, and I think came away reaffirmed with things they thought. Just incredibly well-organized, energetic, and I'm glad he's able to go into meetings and go into practice and see how things are really run."

Where is Manning going next?

Coming up on the schedule is another personal, on-campus visit to head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns football program.

Manning and family will be in Austin on March 24 to hear Sarkisian's latest pitch. All the previous ones appear to have been on point, with the quarterback seriously considering the Longhorns, who are due to join the SEC in the near future.
