The next phase of an active December is here as 2023 National Signing Day has arrived, the biggest day on the college football recruiting calendar, and the first chance for the nation's top high school prospects to secure their scholarships and finally put their name to a National Letter of Intent for the 2024 season and beyond. The early signing period begins on Wednesday and runs through Friday, and if previous years are any indication, we should see most of those recruits making their intentions known now, rather than wait until February's signing day.

Five-star flip: Dylan Raiola jumps to Nebraska from Georgia

This will be updated...

Armondo Blount: A top-10 ranked defensive lineman who previously committed to Florida State in October reversed course and signed with Miami, bolstering the Hurricanes' already-excellent 2024 recruiting haul.

DJ Lagway: The five-star quarterback said on ESPN that intends to sign with Florida, an important development for a Gators class that has suffered key de-commitments.

Ellis Robinson: As expected, Georgia secured the signature of the five-star cornerback, ranked as the No. 1 prospect at his position nationally, and the No. 3 overall prospect in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Amaris Williams: Another hit for Florida in its 2024 recruiting efforts as the 4-star defensive lineman flipped from the Gators to SEC rival Auburn. Williams is the No. 79 overall player and the No. 8 defensive lineman, and was a UF pledge since June, but his loss is that of another top-100 prospect for Billy Napier.

KJ Bolden: A bombshell flip on early signing day as the five-star safety committed to Georgia over Florida State, where he originally gave his verbal pledge. Formerly the Seminoles' highest-rated prospect, Bolden ranks No. 15 overall and No. 1 at safety according to the Top247 Rankings, and his decision should secure the Bulldogs finish as the No. 1 class in the cycle.

Eddrick Houston: A major gain for Ohio State, which held on to sign the 5-star defensive lineman, despite some strong interest from Alabama late in the process, including with some insiders predicting he would flip to the Tide. But the Buckeyes secure an edge rusher of considerable potential and a foundational piece to build around.

Ryan Wingo: The consensus No. 8 wide receiver and No. 28 ranked recruit nationally handed in his letter of intent to Texas on Wednesday, as expected, although not without a strong late push by in-state Missouri for the St. Louis-based prospect.

Jeremiah Smith: It's official, as the No. 1 player in the 2024 recruiting class and 5-star wide receiver confirmed his commitment to Ohio State, despite heavy interest from Miami and Florida State.

Perry Thompson: Auburn and Hugh Freeze secure the signature of the 5-star, No. 7 ranked wide receiver, No. 26 prospect nationally, and No. 5 player in the state of Alabama according to the 247Sports composite ratings.

Lugard Edokpayi: The No. 12 edge rusher and No. 169 player in the nation committed to Michigan, which originally offered the Maryland native back in early November.

Dominick McKinley: Don't expect a decision for the 5-star Lafayette (La.) defensive lineman, as his mother revealed her son won't make anything official during the early signing period. Texas A&M earned his verbal on Sept. 1, but after the coaching change, LSU has emerged as a candidate. Tennessee and Oklahoma are also involved.

Jeremiah McClellan: A notable flip for the 4-star wide receiver, who ditched Ohio State for Oregon, giving the Ducks the No. 49 ranked overall player in the 2024 class as they move to the Big Ten starting next season.

LJ McCray: A five-star defensive lineman considered the top prospect in his class at the position will not sign with Florida in the early signing period, he tells On3 Sports' Hayes Fawcett, something of a blow for the Gators' 2024 class, which already lost five-star safety Xavier Filsaime, who bolted for Texas two days ago.

Micah Hudson: Texas Tech lands the five-star wide receiver, ranked as the No. 3 player at his position by the 247Sports Composite. Standing at 6-foot, 190 pounds, Hudson is an elite vertical threat who caught 70 passes for 1,370 yards and scored 18 touchdowns as a senior, and finished his varsity career with 32 touchdown grabs.

Eddrick Houston: The five-star defensive lineman from Buford (Ga.) has been an Ohio State pledge since Aug. 22, but recruiting insiders are watching developments between himself and Alabama, and believe a flip could be forthcoming.

Dylan Raiola: The five-star quarterback and consensus top-five player in the 2024 cycle had been committed to Georgia for months, and even moved to the state to be closer to the program, but Matt Rhule and the Cornhuskers never lost interest, and Raiola eventually flipped to Nebraska, his father's alma mater and where his uncle serves as offensive line coach.
