Texas football star Quinn Ewers' new look is going viral
In addition to being known as one of college football's rising stars, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers has also been known for his unique look.
Back during the last offseason, Ewers showed off his famous mullet to rave reviews, but now the Longhorns signal caller has made a big change.
Ewers has moved on from the mullet as we learned from an Instagram story posted by his teammate, Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy.
Ewers came into the college football consciousness two years ago as one of the rare perfect 1.000 recruits on the 247Sports Recruiting Composite.
And to date he's only the second prospect of that caliber to sign with Texas, the other being quarterback Vince Young, who won a national championship with the Longhorns in the memorable 2005 season.
After he transferred back to the Longhorns after a year with Ohio State, Ewers quickly took hold of the starting quarterback position, completing 58.1 percent of his throws for 2,177 yards with 15 touchdowns and 6 interceptions.
And while he's considered the favorite to maintain the starting position, he'll have some real competition after 5-star quarterback Arch Manning pledged to Texas as a member of the school's 2023 recruiting class.
