The Atlanta Braves are one of the best teams in baseball and part of a limited group of teams that can win the World Series.

At 46-26, the Braves have the best record in the National League and appear set to make a serious run in October.

Their lineup catalyst, Ronald Acuna Jr., also appears serious about making a run at the National League MVP award. His phenomenal season is seeing him make history all over the place, including in the power-speed department.

Per baseball researcher Jim Passon on social media:

Players with 30+ SB and 15+ HR before the All Star break:

César Cedeño (1973 HOU)

César Cedeño (1974 HOU)

Rickey Henderson (1986 NYY)

Eric Davis (1987 CIN)

Rickey Henderson (1990 OAK)

Ronald Acuña Jr. (2023 ATL)

Not bad, considering Acuna still has three weeks left in the first half of the season to add to his totals. He's got 15 homers this year and exactly 30 steals. He's also hitting .325 and has scored 72 runs.

His 15 homers are tied for 16th in the majors while his 30 steals are second. He's second in batting average and first in runs scored.

He's a lock for the All-Star Game next month in Seattle, it's just a matter of if he will be the top vote getter in the National League.

The Braves are back in action for a big divisional showdown on Tuesday as Spencer Strider pitches against Phillies lefty Ranger Suarez.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. ET.
