In this story:

The Baltimore Orioles beat the Seattle Mariners on Sunday afternoon by a score of 5-3. It was the second straight 10-inning win for the O's in Seattle and allowed them to take the season series over the M's, four games to two.

The reason why the Orioles won on Sunday? Look no further than Cedric Mullins, who delivered an incredible performance.

The former All-Star, recently activated off the injured list, robbed a home run in the bottom of the ninth off the bat of Ty France before hitting the game-winning homer in the top of the 10th off of Trent Thornton. You can see those plays here.

The effort was so good from Mullins that it made some amazing recent baseball history.

Per ESPN Stats & Info:

Cedric Mullins became the first player to rob a HR and hit a HR in the 9th inning or later of the same game over the last 10 seasons.

Mullins is hitting .253 on the year with 10 home runs and 49 RBI. He's also stolen 15 bases, including one that was integral in the Orioles 1-0 win on Saturday night.

He's also added a .339 on-base percentage.

The Orioles have the best record in the American League at 73-45 and they lead the Tampa Bay Rays by 3.0 games in the American League East. They have won seven of their last 10.

They'll be back in action on Monday against the San Diego Padres. First pitch from Petco Park is 9:40 p.m. ET as Grayson Rodriguez (BAL) pitches against Yu Darvish (SD).
