The Cleveland Guardians beat the Chicago White Sox 5-0 on Sunday to split the four-game series with their division rivals on the South Side.

It was a crucial win for Cleveland, who picked up a game in the American League Central standings. They now trail the Minnesota Twins by just 0.5 games in the division after the Twins have lost five straight.

For Cleveland, the victory was keyed by the dominant pitching performance of Aaron Civale and three relievers, but also by Jose Ramirez, who went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI.

With that performance, he continues to move up an impressive all-time list in team history.

Per Sarah Langs of MLB.com:

most multi-HR games, Cleveland history:

Albert Belle: 26

Jim Thome: 26

Hal Trosky: 25

José Ramírez: 23

The 30-year-old Ramirez is hitting .292 this year with a .361 on-base percentage. He now has 18 homers and 63 RBI, to go along with 13 stolen bases.

Lifetime, he's a .280 hitter with 210 homers, 729 RBI and 187 steals. One of the most consistent players of the last decade, he's a five-time All-Star who has received MVP votes in six different seasons.

He also helped the Guardians get to the World Series in 2016, where they lost to the Chicago Cubs.

The Guardians will begin a tough series on Monday night, traveling to Houston to play the World Champion Astros.

First pitch is set for 8:10 p.m. ET as Gavin Williams (CLE) gets the start against Astros ace Framber Valdez.
