In this story:

The Houston Astros beat the Texas Rangers on Thursday night 10-3 to even up the best-of-seven American League Championship Series.

It's now tied at two games apiece, with the road team winning each game of the series.

The Astros had an 11-hit attack in the win, including getting home runs from Jose Abreu and Chas McCormick. 

In the win, the Astros became part of multiple historic baseball facts.

Per ESPN Stats & Info:

The Astros were the 28th team all-time to drop the first two games at home of a best-of-7 postseason series. They're only the fifth of those to come back to tie the series 2-2. 

The last to do it was ... the Astros in the 2019 World Series against the Nationals. The Nats went on to win the title, with the road team winning every game of that series.

The Astros have been to the World Series in 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2022, winning it in 2017 and 2022. 

In addition:

The Astros have outscored the Rangers 57-18 (+39) in their last five games in Arlington. It's the best run differential in MLB history in a span of five road games by any team against a 90-win opponent in a season (regular season and playoffs).

The Astros won the season-series from the Rangers 9-4 and are looking to vanquish them yet again.

The Rangers will have one more chance to hold serve at home in the series, with Game 5 of the series being played on Friday afternoon

After that, the series shifts back to Houston.

Game 5 begins at 5:07 p.m. ET.
