The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to accomplish something on Tuesday night during the Major League Baseball All-Star Game that only they have done before.

Per @OptaSTATS on Twitter:

This year's Los Angeles Dodgers are the second team to have three or more 30+ year olds starting within the 1st four lineup spots in a Major League All-Star Game.

The Dodgers, themselves, also did so in 1980:

Davey Lopes - 1st

Reggie Smith - 2nd

Steve Garvey - 4th

The National League team will feature Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts and JD Martinez in the 2-3-4 spots in the lineup. It's been an impressive season for those players, and for the Dodgers as a whole, who enter the break at 51-38 and in a tie for first place in the National League West.

Betts, 30, is in his 10th season in the major leagues with the Red Sox and Dodgers. He's now a seven-time All-Star, a two-time World Series champion and a six-time Gold Glove winner. He's hitting .276 this year with 26 homers.

Freeman, 33, is in his 14th year in the big leagues between the Braves and Dodgers. He's a now seven-time All-Star as well, who has won an MVP, a Gold Glove award and a World Series title. He's hitting .320 this year with 17 homers.

Martinez, 35, is in his 13th year in the majors with the Astros, Tigers, Diamondbacks, Red Sox and Dodgers. This is his sixth All-Star appearance. He's hitting .255 with 22 homers and starts for the NL at designated hitter.

The first pitch of the All-Star Game is slated for 8:00 p.m. ET.
