The Milwaukee Brewers trailed the Arizona Diamondbacks by four runs after 1.5 innings on Tuesday night but came back to win, 7-5.

The win moved Milwaukee to 38-35 and kept them within 0.5 games of the red-hot Cincinnati Reds in the National League Central.

The win also gave the Brewers a piece of some really unique baseball history.

Per @OptaSTATS on Twitter:

With the @Brewers coming back to beat Arizona, this is the 10th consecutive day that at least one MLB team has come back from 4+ runs down to win. The 10 consecutive days with a 4+ run comeback win ties the longest streak in MLB in the modern era (also May 5-14, 2000).

That's a lot of resilient teams, and a lot of teams that can't hold leads right there.

Jesse Winker, fresh off the injured list, hit his first home run of the season in the win while Luis Urias added two hits, as did Willy Adames.

Seven of the nine starters for Milwaukee registered hits in the victory.

The loss dropped Arizona to 44-30. They are 5-5 in their last 10 games and now lead the National League West by 2.5 games over the San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers are 3.5 back.

The Brewers and Diamondbacks will play again Wednesday afternoon at 2:10 p.m. ET. Diamondbacks ace Zac Gallen (8-2, 2.96 ERA) will pitch against veteran Julio Teheran (2-2, 1.78 ERA).

The Brewers will be off on Thursday before traveling to Cleveland for a weekend series with the Guardians on Friday.
