The Philadelphia Phillies beat the San Francisco Giants on Monday night by a score of 10-4 at Citizens Bank Park.

The win was important in terms of the National League playoff picture as these two teams are vying for the top spot in the NL wild card race. After the win, the Phillies are now 68-57 and in the top spot, while the Giants are 65-60 and fell into the third spot.

The Phillies were paced by superstar Bryce Harper in the win. He went 2-for-5 with an inside-the-park home run, the second of his career.

That inside-the-parker put him alongside a short list of team legends in recent franchise history.

Per ESPN Stats & Info:

Bryce Harper hit his 2nd career inside-the-park HR tonight, with the other coming in 2021 against his former team the Nationals.

He's the 3rd Phillies player over the last 20 years with multiple inside-the-park homers, along with Jimmy Rollins (4) and Chase Utley (3).

Since coming back from Tommy John surgery earlier this season, Harper is hitting .293 and continues to be a force in the middle of the lineup. His power numbers have lagged, as he has just 10 home runs, but he has contributed 42 RBI and a .834 OPS.

One of the most accomplished players of the last decade, Harper is a seven-time All-Star, a Rookie of the Year winner and a two-time MVP.

The Phillies will host the Giants again on Tuesday night at 6:40 p.m. ET.
