San Diego Padres' Young Star Continues to Be a Part of Under-25 Baseball History

In this story:
The San Diego Padres routed the Oakland Athletics 10-1 on Sunday afternoon as San Diego moved to 72-78 on the season. They've now won four games in a row and are 6.0 games back in the National League wild card race with 12 games to play.
Padres' young star Juan Soto helped pace the victory with a 3-for-5 day. He hit two home runs, scored two runs and drove in six. He now has 32 home runs this season.
Still just 24 years old, he also continued to re-write the baseball record books for players under the age of 25.
Per Sarah Langs of MLB.com:
Juan Soto now has 16 multi-HR games, 5th-most before turning 25, behind:
Eddie Mathews: 19
Hal Trosky: 18
Mel Ott: 17
Bob Horner: 17

Soto doesn't turn 25 until after the season ends so he'll have the rest of the season to add to his impressive resume.
Because Soto is in his sixth year in the big leagues, it's hard to remember just how young he is. Having made his debut at the age of 19, he's already a three-time All-Star, a three-time Silver Slugger, a batting champion, a Home Run Derby champion and a World Series winner (2019).
This year, he's hitting .266 with the 32 home runs and 98 RBI. He's stolen 10 bases and has posted an OPS of .907.
The Padres are back in action on Monday night when they take on the Colorado Rockies. First pitch from Petco Park is set for 9:40 p.m. ET.
