Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh made some team history on Sunday, becoming the third Mariners player to hit a baseball onto Eutaw Street at Camden Yards.

He joins Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. and Sam Haggerty on that list.

Hitting in the top of the second inning against the Baltimore Orioles, Raleigh deposited a slider from Kyle Bradish onto Eutaw Street. He's only the second visitor to hit one on Eutaw Street this year, joining Rafael Devers of the Boston Red Sox.

There's already a commemorative marking out there where the plaque will go. The Mariners tweeted about it:

You can see the homer itself right here as well, which was posted by baseball personality Jared Carrabis of Draftkings.

At the time of this posting, the Mariners and Orioles are tied 2-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning. Raleigh is 1-1 with the homer and is now hitting .230 on the season. He has 11 homers and 33 RBI.

Playing in his third season, Raleigh is a .211 career hitter with 40 homers. He hit the biggest Mariners home run in regular season history last year when he led the Mariners to the playoffs for the first time since 2001 with a walk-off against the Oakland Athletics.

The Mariners entered play on Sunday at 37-38 and 3.5 games out of a final wild card spot. A win would move them back to .500 and give them a 3-3 road trip through New York (Yankees) and Baltimore.

The M's will be back home on Monday to take on the Washington Nationals at 9:40 p.m. ET.
