The Philadelphia Phillies won't be 100 percent coming out of the All-Star break, as they've placed depth outfielder Cristian Pache on the injured list.

The following update comes from the Rotowire fantasy baseball portal:

Pache is expected to be placed on the 10-day injured list, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

ANALYSIS
It's unclear what injury Pache is dealing with, but Gelb says it's considered minor so the outfielder figures to be back when his 10 days are up. Johan Rojas is coming up to take Pache's spot on the Phillies' roster.

The 24-year-old outfielder was once seen as one of the top prospects in baseball but hasn't found a way to live up to that hype yet - but he has found a useful role in Philadelphia.

Acquired from the Oakland Athletics this offseason, Pache is hitting .327 in 32 games. He's got two home runs and eight RBI. He is a very good outfielder defensively.

He's in his fourth year overall in the big leagues with the Braves, Athletics and Phillies.

The Phillies enter the second half of the season at 48-41 overall. They've won six of their last 10 games and currently sit in third place in the National League East. They are 12.0 games behind the Braves for first place, so they will turn their attention to the wild card. They are 0.5 games out of the final wild card spot right now.

They'll open up the second half of the season on Friday when they host the San Diego Padres.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. ET.
