Over the past two weeks, the Los Angeles Dodgers have placed four players on the Paternity List. Among them are Mookie Betts, Max Muncy, Evan Phillips and Brusdar Graterol.

In addition to the four Dodgers that have missed time due to the birth of their children, former Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger was placed on the Paternity List last week by the Chicago Cubs. Bellinger's girlfriend gave birth to the couple's second child.

A total of five players from the 2022 Dodgers team have recently missed time due to the birth of their children. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was recently asked about it on MLB Network Radio.

"It's incredible," Roberts said. "I think when it's all said and done, in a span of three weeks, we're going to have about five or six guys (go on the Paternity List). So you can just sort of do the math and look at last year's All-Star break. It's just amazing though... this past series losing Graterol and Muncy at the same time... It just never stops... They're all procreating together, I guess."

Even with players bouncing in and out of the lineup, the Dodgers are starting to pick up steam. Los Angeles has won five straight games, entering play Wednesday with an 18-13 record. The club will try for a sweep of the reigning National League champion Philadelphia Phillies, with rookie Gavin Stone receiving the first start of his career.

The Dodgers' win streak has them all alone in first place of the National League West, leading the Arizona Diamondbacks by 1.5 games.
