Yup, that's the wholesome content for the day that we all needed.

The Brewers enter play on Thursday at 42-38 and in second place in the National League Central. They are currently 0.5 games behind the first-place Cincinnati Reds and four games ahead of both the Cubs and the Pirates.

The Mets, on the other hand, enter play at 36-44 and are one of the most disappointing teams in all of baseball.

First pitch from Citi Field is set for 7:10 p.m. ET as Adrian Houser (2-2, 4.02 ERA) matches up with Max Scherzer (7-2, 3.95 ERA).

There's no word on how the Little League Brewers are doing this season...

Rye, New York is actually the hometown of Seattle Mariners ace pitcher George Kirby, just as a fun aside.
