Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra enjoyed some leisure time on Saturday, taking in the Miami Marlins and Pittsburgh Pirates game at loanDepot park in Miami.

The Marlins announced Spoelstra's presence over the loud speaker and he got some good applause from the hometown faithful, which you can see here.

It's some much deserved rest time for Spoelstra, who just completed a run to the NBA Finals and the NBA Draft in the last two weeks.

The Heat pulled off one of the most improbable runs in NBA history this past season. They had to win a play-in game to even make the playoffs, earning the No. 8 seed. They then toppled the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in round one and beat the New York Knicks in round two before taking out the Boston Celtics in seven games in the Eastern Conference Finals.

They lost to the Denver Nuggets in five games in the Finals.

The 52-year-old Spoelstra has led the Heat to two NBA titles and six NBA Finals appearances. He was named one of the 15 greatest coaches in NBA history.

As for the game he's seeing? The Marlins and Pirates are currently tied, 2-2, in the top of the ninth inning. An eventual win would move Miami to 44-34 on the season and would increase their positioning in the National League wild card standings. They currently own one of the three positions.

The Marlins and Pirates will wrap up the series on Sunday afternoon at 1:40 p.m. ET.
