New York Yankees and Cincinnati Reds Do Something That No Teams Have Done This Season on Sunday
The New York Yankees and Cincinnati Reds accomplished something that you don't see often on Sunday morning.
Playing in the rare 11:35 a.m. timeslot, both Yankees manager Aaron Boone and Reds manager David Bell were ejected.
This marked the first time this season that the managers of both teams were ejected from the same game.
From ESPN Stats & Info on Twitter:
Yankees-Reds is the first game this season in which both opposing managers were ejected It doesn't come as a surprise as Aaron Boone (18 including today) and David Bell (12 including today) have the most and 2nd-most ejections among managers over the last 3 seasons.
Boone is in his sixth season as the Yankees manager. He's won more than 90 games four times and has won more than 100 games twice. He's been ejected 28 career times.

He helped the Yankees get to the World Series in 2003 after hitting a walk-off home run in the ALCS against the Boston Red Sox. It's one of the more iconic home runs in baseball history.
As for Bell, he's in his fifth year at the helm of the Reds. He has a winning percentage of .457.
He spent 12 years in the big leagues as well, most prominently with Philadelphia (four years), St. Louis (four years) and Seattle (four years). He also played for the Brewers and the Giants.
