Yankees fans living in the coverage area of the YES Network can now get a direct-to-consumer version of the network to watch Yankees games in 2023.

It's a little convoluted but the bottom is this: If you already get the YES Network through your cable provider, you can keep that. You can also watch games on the YES App, if you already get YES through your cable provider.

If you don't have a cable provider or want to drop your cable provider, you can purchase this YES-specific App, which will allow you to watch Yankees games, Brooklyn Nets games and New York Liberty games that appear on YES.

The price for the YES app is $24.99 a month or $239.99 a year. If you sign up by April 30th of this year, you get a reduced price of $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year.

Everyone wants in on the streaming wars, so if you are looking to watch the Yankees but not have the rest of your cable package, then this could be for you.

Note: This subscription only covers games that appear on YES, so if you are looking to watch any Yankees games appearing on ESPN or FOX, this app won't help. It also won't cover the 20 games that the Yankees exclusively have on Prime Video this year.

The Yankees open up the season on Thursday at 1:05 against the San Francisco Giants.
