Seattle Mariners Fans Shoot Their Shot with Shohei Ohtani on 'College Gameday' Broadcast

The unquestioned biggest game of the day on the college football schedule for Saturday is Oregon at Washington.
Oregon enters the game at No. 8 in the country while Washington is No. 7. Both teams have a realistic chance at making the College Football Playoff.
As a result of the gravity of the game, ESPN broadcasted 'College Gameday' from Seattle on Saturday morning. 'College Gameday' is known for its creative signs in the crowd and its passionate fans, and one Seattle Mariners' fan decided to use his sign to recruit Shohei Ohtani to come to Seattle this offseason.

Mariners fans will undoubtedly appreciate the effort, as Ohtani is the one free agent that all baseball fans want this offseason.
The most exciting player in the game, Ohtani hit .304 this year with 44 homers and 95 RBI. He did all of that while only getting 497 at-bats this year, missing time at the end of the season with oblique and elbow injuries. He also stole 20 bases.
The Mariners' offense really scuffled at times in 2023 and is likely to lose Teoscar Hernandez in free agency, so they could truly benefit from Ohtani's middle-of-the-order presence. Seattle missed the playoffs by one game this season and Ohtani would be a game-changing addition.
Unfortunately, because of his elbow injury, he can't pitch until 2025. He was dominant on the mound as well this year, going 10-5 with a 3.14 ERA.
As a result of his achievements, he's very likely to win his second MVP award in the last three years.
