Seattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic did it again on Tuesday night.

The slugging lefty hit his team-leading seventh home run of the season against the Philadelphia Phillies, this time connecting off of Phillies lefty Bailey Falter.

The home run came on a hanging slider over the middle of the plate and was deposited in right-center field.

As for the details on the home run: The ball was hit with an exit velocity of 106.0 mph and traveled 424 feet.

Kelenic is on some kind of tear right now for the Mariners, who entered play at 10-12 overall. He's now hitting .338 with the seven home runs, 14 RBI and three stolen bases. His 1.124 OPS is now third in the league. He also had a double in the at-bat prior to the home run.

His seven home runs are tied for fifth in the majors behind Max Muncy (11), Pete Alonso (10), Rafael Devers/Patrick Wisdom (9). He's tied with Adolis Garcia, Josh Outman and Rowdy Telez with seven.

This offense is a major turnaround for Kelenic in his development. He was the centerpiece of the trade that sent Robinson Cano and Edwin Diaz to the Mets and struggled to live up to expectations. He made his debut in 2021 but was sent back to Triple-A in each of 2021 and 2022 after hitting .181 and .141, respectively.

The Mariners even brought in veteran righty AJ Pollock with the idea of platooning Kelenic against lefties, but as evidenced by the homer off of Falter, he's hitting them too.

At the time of this posting, the Mariners lead the Phillies 2-0 in the fifth inning.
