If you can't beat them, make them laugh, I suppose!

As the Seattle Mariners come off a series in which they lost two of three to the Boston Red Sox and now sit at 21-22 overall, the team at least has a way of making its fans laugh.

Starting shortstop JP Crawford and starting first baseman Ty France are going viral in a video that the team posted on Thursday in which Crawford and France serve as baristas at a local Starbucks.

While I'm certainly frustrated as a Mariners fan at the recent performance, I give the team credit for dropping this on an off day as a way to lighten the mood.

It's clearly not from Thursday, as the team is currently in Atlanta, and not Seattle, so they've been sitting on this for a bit now.

As someone who has never worked in the food service industry, I can definitely imagine that being a hard and stressful job. So many orders, so many recipes, the touch POS system, no wonder they were so stressed!

While Crawford and France appear to be good at acting, the Mariners need them to stick to their day jobs.

Crawford has assumed the leadoff spot in the Mariners order, hitting .237 with one home run and 16 RBI. France is right behind him, hitting in the two-hole usually. He's hitting .273 with two home runs on the season.

The Mariners will take on the Braves on Friday at 7:20 p.m. ET.
