For full disclosure, I have been a Seattle Mariners fan for 30 years. I have lived and died with every season of those last 30 years, and I have one question.

What the heck are the Mariners doing?

Ahead of the Mariners upcoming series with the Toronto Blue Jays at T-Mobile Park, the Mariners are practically inviting their rival fan base to take over the ballpark.

Mariners Twitter personality @MarinerMuse put this on Twitter:

"The Mariners Team Store has dedicated an entire rack for Blue Jays gear ahead of this weekend's series."

Now, there's some things to address here:

1) Blue Jays fans notoriously try to take over T-Mobile Park as they come in from Canada, creating a fun scene among rivals. That's one thing, but for the Mariners to INVITE that chaos into their ballpark is another.

2) Clearly, the Mariners have seen a money-making opportunity here. That's all well and good, but is that money made from Blue Jays shirts going to go towards signing a quality bat this offseason or trading for an offensive upgrade? If it helps them get Shohei Ohtani, then I'll back down, but if it only affords them Tommy La Stella again, then I'll continue to be angry.

3) The Mariners and Blue Jays are battling for a playoff spot in the American League. This is a huge series among two teams that have playoff designs. The Mariners should be focused on packing their own ballpark, not accommodating the rival visitors.

I'm actually disgusted by this.
