Starting Lineup, Pitchers For Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Angels Game on Tuesday

The Los Angeles Angels took Game 1 of the series from the Mariners on Monday night, 7-3. The two American League West foes will meet again on Tuesday at 9:40 p.m. ET. Here are the starting lineups and pitching matchups for that clash.

The Los Angeles Angels took Game 1 of the series on Monday against the Seattle Mariners, winning 7-3. The Angels got home runs from Shohei Ohtani and Taylor Ward in that one and will look to replicate success in Game 2 of the series from T-Mobile Park.

Here are the starting lineups and pitching matchups:

First, for the 1-4 Mariners.

1) Julio Rodriguez, CF

2) Ty France, 1B

3) Teoscar Hernandez, RF

4) Eugenio Suarez, 3B

5) Cal Raleigh, C

6) AJ Pollock, LF

7) Sam Haggerty, 2B

8) Tom Murphy, DH

9) JP Crawford, SS

SP: Luis Castillo

It's close to the same lineup that the Mariners ran out last night against another lefty starter in Reid Detmers. The Angels are starting Jose Suarez today and manager Scott Servais elects to keep Jarred Kelenic and Kolten Wong on the bench. We will see if Ty France will steal anymore bases today, one day after getting the first of his career.

As for Castillo on the mound, he's coming off an Opening Day that saw him throw six shutout innings vs. the Cleveland Guardians.

For the Angels tonight...

1) Taylor Ward, LF

2) Mike Trout, CF

3) Shohei Ohtani, DH

4) Hunter Renfroe, RF

5) Jake Lamb, 1B

6) Brandon Drury, 2B

7) Luis Rengifo, 3B

8) Matt Theiss, C

9) David Fletcher, SS

SP) Jose Suarez

Trout, Ohtani and Rengifo continue to destroy the Mariners. Trout reached base in all five plate appearances on Monday, Ohtani homered and Rengifo did more damage...

Rengifo has driven in more runs against the Mariners than any other team in his career.

First pitch tonight is 9:40 p.m. ET.
