The Tampa Bay Rays host the Washington Nationals in a series beginning on Monday. The good news for Tampa Bay is that second baseman Brandon Lowe is back in the lineup and hitting leadoff.

After sweeping the Detroit Tigers in the season's opening weekend, the Tampa Bay Rays are starting a new series with the Washington Nationals on Monday.

The Nationals are coming off a series that saw them lose two of three to the Atlanta Braves.

The starting lineup for the Rays has been released and the good news is that second baseman Brandon Lowe is back after not starting on Sunday because of a toe injury. Wander Franco is in the No. 2 spot. He currently leads the majors in hitting at .636 after a torrid start to the season.

5) Harold Ramirez, LF

6) Isaac Paredes, 3B

Drew Rasmussen, SP (went 11-7 with a 2.84 ERA in 28 appearances in 2022)

Trevor Williams, SP (went 3-5 with a 3.21 ERA in 2022)

First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m. ET.
