As for the standings, the Angels come in at 9-9, which is second in the American League West behind the Rangers (12-6) and ahead of the Astros (9-10), Mariners (8-11) and A's (3-16).
For the Yankees, they are currently 11-7, which is tied for second in the American League East. They are tied with the Orioles and behind the Tampa Bay Rays (16-3). The Blue Jays (11-8) and Red Sox (9-10) round out the standings.
