Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia is the final participant for the home run derby during All-Star week in Seattle.

Just minutes after White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. confirmed his participation, Garcia confirmed his.

Entering play on Wednesday, Garcia has 21 homers and 69 RBI to go along with a .258 average. He's tied for the league-lead in RBI with Matt Olson of the Braves.

It's been a breakout year for the 30-year-old Rangers star, who made his debut in 2018 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He's been a major part of the Rangers resurgence this year as well, as the team entered Wednesday at 51-35 and in first place in the American League West.

Garcia joins Julio Rodriguez (Mariners), Randy Arozarena (Rays), Adley Rutschman (Orioles), Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Blue Jays), Mookie Betts (Dodgers), Robert Jr. and Pete Alonso (Mets) in the derby field.

What continues to be amazing is that seven of the eight participants are right-handed hitters. While righties have certainly won the derby (Alonso has won it twice), some of the most notable derby performances have been by lefties (Ken Griffey Jr., Josh Hamilton, Jason Giambi). Rutschman, a switch-hitter, has even said he may swing from both sides of the plate.

The home run derby is July 10. Garcia was also named to the All-Star Game on July 11.
