The Texas Rangers are no longer a surprise team. They are just a good team. And they keep on showing it, over and over again.

The Rangers destroyed the division-rival Seattle Mariners on Saturday by a score of 16-6. They put up 19 hits in the offensive barrage and moved to 37-20 in the win.

At the time of this posting, they lead the American League West by 2.5 games over the Houston Astros and own the second-best record in the American League.

Just how good is the Rangers' offense? ESPN Stats & Info has the answer to that on Twitter:

The Rangers continue to be the hottest offense in MLB, scoring 10+ runs in a game for the 15th time this season. No other team has more than 8 such games this season.

If you look at the Rangers lineup, it's relentless. It's easy to see why they have that kind of offensive output. Six Rangers had multi-hit efforts on Saturday and four starters ended the day with batting averages over .300. Eight starters ended the day with a batting average over .280.

The Rangers are seeking their first playoff appearance since 2016 and with an offense like this, they are certainly primed to get it. But it's not just the offense. After signing Jon Gray, Martin Perez, Jacob deGrom, Andrew Heaney and Nathan Eovaldi over the last two offseasons, the pitching has been good too.

The Rangers shut out the Mariners on Friday night, 2-0.

The two teams will finish the series on Sunday at 2:35 p.m. ET.
