MLB's Official "X" Account Roasted After Making Ridiculous List

On Wednesday, the official MLB account on "X" was ridiculed after it put out an absolutely absurd list.
The account posted a list of "Sleeper picks" heading into the 2024 season and included the following names:
Bobby Witt Jr. (Royals), Royce Lewis (Twins), Jung Hoo Lee (Giants), Spencer Steer (Reds), Evan Carter (Rangers), Nolan Jones (Rockies), Yainer Diaz (Astros), Paul Skenes (Pirates), George Kirby (Mariners) and Shoto Imanaga (FA)

There are some respectable inclusions here, no doubt, but how on Earth did Bobby Witt Jr. and George Kirby make this list? Yes, they play in smaller or mid-market organizations, but that's the only justification you could make because anyone who watches baseball knows how good they are.
Witt Jr. hit 30 homers last season and stole 49 bases. He finished seventh in the MVP voting in the American League a year after finishing fourth in the Rookie of the Year voting. He's an absolute stud. He was egregiously left off the All-Star team last season, so maybe people were sleeping on him, but they aren't anymore. He's the face of a franchise and is likely to get a $250 million contract if he stays in Kansas City (and signs an early extension).
As for Kirby, he was named an All-Star a season ago and features the best control of any starter in the league. He went 13-10 with a 3.35 ERA and would have had a better record had the Mariners been able to muster up more offense for him.
Here are some of the best responses on social media:

Bobby Witt Jr is a 5-star prospect who went 30/40 last season.

I feel like people may know about him.
Bobby Witt Jr was the only player in baseball not named Ronald Acuña Jr to go 30/40 last year…and he’s at the top of the sleeper list… pic.twitter.com/GVfPKjA8Jt
