Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Kevin Gausman and his daughter, Sadie, went viral on Wednesday night after Sadie threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Blue Jays played the San Francisco Giants.

She threw out the first pitch in honor of Kevin's giveaway night. The Jays gave away a "split" jersey that was half blue and half white in honor of his "splitter."

You can see the fun moment at Rogers Centre HERE: The clip was commented on or shared by popular baseball accounts like Cut4, Sarah Langs of MLB.com, Jomboy Media and @PitchingNinja.

According to the Blue Jays television broadcast, Sadie thinks this is now going to become a regular occurrence. She'll only get better as she gets older!

Her first pitch comes after a memorable night for dad as well. Kevin Gausman struck out 12 over six innings on Tuesday night for the Blue Jays. He took the loss but lowered his ERA to 3.01 on the year.

Gausman is having a great season in Toronto overall. He leads the American League in strikeouts with 139, which is 12 more than Shohei Ohtani.

Gausman is in his 11th year in the big leagues with the Orioles, Braves, Reds, Giants and Blue Jays. He's a lifetime 83-86 pitcher with a 3.87 ERA but he's figured out something over the last few years as he's won double-digit games in each of the last two years.

The Blue Jays beat the Giants on Wednesday, 6-1, so maybe Sadie brought some good luck!

Toronto is now 44-37 and battling it out in the American League wild card race. They'll finish out the series with the Giants on Thursday at 7:07 p.m. ET. Chris Bassitt will pitch for the Jays.
