Baltimore Orioles' 2023 Official Regular Season Schedule
The Baltimore Orioles are now less than two months away from Opening Day.
The Orioles will open the season on the road in Boston, taking on the Red Sox at Fenway Park, before traveling to Texas for a three-game series with the Rangers.
The Orioles will play their home opener Thurs., April 6 against the New York Yankees, before the Oakland Athletics visit town for a four-game series.
For the first time ever, the Orioles will play a series against each of the other 29 Major League Baseball teams. All 30 teams will play a series against each other, for the first time in baseball history. The hope is that it will generate more fan interest, as star players from the opposite league will appear at the city's home ballpark every other year. Orioles fans will get a chance to see Los Angeles Dodgers stars Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman when the Dodgers visit Baltimore in mid-July.
The schedule change will also provide help to teams that play in hypercompetitive divisions. The Orioles play in an extremely competitive American League East. Four of the five teams in the division finished 2022 with a winning record. All five teams hope to compete this season.
The Orioles are coming off their first winning season since 2016, finishing 83-79 in 2022. They finished just three games back of the Tampa Bay Rays, who received the third and final Wild Card spot in the American League.
Here's a look at the Orioles' entire schedule for the 2023 season:
