Pros Call Robbery After Tyson Fury Defeats Francis Ngannou in Controversial Fight

Some pros were outraged by the Fury vs. Ngannou decision.

Tyson fury has successfully upheld his undefeated record by defeating Francis Ngannou at "The Battle of The Baddest" in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It wasn't easy however, as Fury overcame an early knockdown and was bullied by Ngannou throughout the fight. In the end, "The Gypsy King" came out on top with a contentious split decision.

Chris Eubank Jr. remarked that Tyson "deserved to lose" after struggling against a boxing debutant:

Ariel Helwani called "bulls***" on the decision:

Users on Verdict MMA collectively scored the bout for Ngannou:

Junior Dos Santos called the decision "mad," believing his old foe won the fight:

Boxing great Roberto Duran says Tyson Fury lost the bout:

Henry Cejudo jested that Ngannou "just became the Lineal World heavyweight BOXING champion":

LeBron James exclaimed that the decision was "exactly why" he doesn't watch boxing:

Despite the outrage, it's nearly impossible for the result to be appealed or overturned. Ngannou showed that he can hang with the --- literal --- best in the world, defying expectations and promoting his stock to extraordinary levels. If he decides to box again, he will undoubtably hold on to a top rank, as well as the star power necessary to pick a big name to fight against.

How's that for fumbling the bag?
