Ryan Garcia remains at odds with his promoter Oscar De La Hoya.

Garcia is one of boxing's top young stars. Despite being knocked out with a superb body shot from Gervonta "Tank" Davis last year, "KingRy" continues to draw eyeballs, as his last outing against Oscar Duarte had over 10,000 people in attendance inside the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

Despite being a big star for Golden Boy Promotions, Ryan Garcia can't seem to get along with his promoter.

Garcia publicly announced plans to negotiate for a battle against WBC junior-welterweight champion Devin Haney. "KingRy" ditch the negotiation table after claiming Haney's team insisted on being the A-side. He then shifted his focus to a potential clash with WBA champion Rolly Romero.

Recently, De La Hoya sent out a post on X revealing entirely new plans to book Garcia against newly-signed Golden Boy boxer and former world champion Jose Ramirez.

"Looking like @RyanGarcia vs jose Ramirez is getting close and happening," De La Hoya wrote.

It appears that post prompted the former WBC interim lightweight champion to suggest fighting De La Hoya instead.

"Ryan Garcia vs Oscar De La Hoya at this point," Garcia wrote.

When asked by a fan what happened to the Rolly fight, De La Hoya responded with the following:

"Priced himself out," De La Hoya claimed.

Regardless, Garcia continues to be unhappy with his promoter and it could lead to a nasty split if things aren't resolved. Prior to Garcia's last matchup with Duarte, the buildup was bizarre with Garcia and International Boxing Hall of Famer and Golden Boy partner Bernard Hopkins trading barbs.

It'll be interesting to see how long cooler heads can prevail with this business relationship.
