Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz: Staff Predictions

Mathew Riddle: Nate Diaz never had the best boxing in MMA to begin with, and most of his credit comes from the moral victories he takes home after getting beat on by better fighters. People forget Diaz is a grappler and he's bordering on 40-years-old. Paul has had the best training and nutrition that money can buy and it's evident that he's a hard worker. I think Paul unfortunately shocks the world by sparking Diaz in the opening rounds. (Pick: Paul)

Drew Beaupré: Sometimes when all you want to do is pick with your heart, you need to pick with your head. I’ve backed every MMA fighter that Paul has faced up to this point, and maybe switching up now means Diaz will finally be the one to break the trend and score a win. “Problem Child” should have a significant size advantage in addition to being the younger man, and even though I’m sure Diaz will make the fight entertaining I expect him to have a difficult time in his boxing debut. (Pick: Paul)
