Tony Khan's big announcement for tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite may have been revealed.

AEW has been heavily advertising that the promotion's founder will be dropping some significant news for wrestling fans. In the past, AEW has made these big teases and sometimes it pays off, while other times it feels like ratings ploy.

In this case, it might just be an announcement of ... an announcement.

Mercedes Moné Drops Massive Tease Ahead Of AEW Dynamite Announcement

The official social media accounts of the TD Garden have spilled the beans on AEW making its way to the venue in Boston, Massachusetts on March 13. Boston just so happens to be the city where Mercedes Moné began her wrestling career.

It was previously reported by Fightful and Andrew Zarian that Moné was expected to debut in AEW next month. If AEW's announcement is truly that Dynamite is making its way to the TD Garden in March, then all signs would certainly point to Moné, formerly known as Sasha Banks during her WWE run, making an appearance.

Mercedes Moné has not been seen inside the ring since May 2023. She suffered an ankle injury in her Strong Women's Championship tournament final match against Willow Nightingale. While this wasn't the way Moné planned on ending her NJPW run, she seems destined for the AEW locker room.

It has been reported that there were plans to debut Moné sooner, but Tony Khan pushed things back due to the disturbing allegations against former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon dominating the wrestling headlines.

Fans won't have to wait much longer to find out if the TD Garden date is indeed the announcement for tonight's Dynamite. The show airs live at 8 p.m. ET on TBS in the United States.
