It's about that time for the AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event.

Tonight's event will be a historic one in the wrestling industry. It'll be the final time that "The Icon" Sting will be performing inside the ring as an active wrestler. The venue is quite fitting, as AEW Revolution 2024 is being held inside the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. Sting and Darby Allin will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Young Bucks.

There are also a slew of title matches on tap for tonight.

Also featured on the AEW Revolution PPV will be a Three-way Match for the AEW World Championship. Titleholder Samoa Joe will put his gold at stake against Swerve Strickland and "Hangman" Adam Page. On the women's side, "Timeless" Toni Storm is set to defend her AEW Women's World Championship against Deonna Purrazzo.

A TNT Championship match between Christian Cage and Daniel Garcia has been booked for the show, as has an AEW International Championship scrap between champion Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong.

Fans will also get to witness what figures to be an absolute banger between former NJPW star Will Ospreay and Konosuke Takeshita.

All that and more is coming up beginning at 8 p.m. ET. There will also be a free live stream of the pre-show, and that portion of the card will have two matches. You can peep the stream on our homepage before the action starts.

AEW Revolution 2024 Results

Christian Cage (c) vs. Daniel Garcia - for the TBS Championship

Cage stumbled over Garcia and faked an ankle injury to thumb Garcia in the eye. Cage initially looked to make fun of Garcia's dance, but instead he flexed his muscle. Garcia leaped from the top rope onto Garcia on the outside.

Nick Wayne tried attacking Garcia on the outside, but was sent flying into the time keeper's area. Garcia sent Christian crashing to the ring steps. Garcia locked in an Ankle Lock, but Christian got out of it.

Cage barely kicked out of a Piledriver. Wayne interfered, allowing Christian to hit the Killswitch for the win.

Eddie Kingston (c) vs. Bryan Danielson - for the AEW Continental Championship

Danielson caught Kingston in the knee with a kick early. Kingston dared him to keep kicking the leg. He checked a kick and moved in with strikes. Kingston hit a suicide dive on Bryan, but Kingston's knee was hurting. Danielson landed a suplex from the ring apron to the floor.

There was some intense action in this one that had fans on their feet. Danielson almost choked out Eddie Kingston, but the champion was still alive. Ultimately, Kingston got the pin after landing a lariat and a powerbomb, and the two shook hands.

Chris Jericho vs. Wardlow vs. Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Lance Archer vs. Hook vs. Brian Cage vs. Magnus vs. Dante Martin - All-Star Scramble Match

"Meat Chants" rained down as Hoobs, Archer, Cage, and Wardlow were beating the stuffing out of one another. Jericho hit a Codebreaker on Wardlow, but HOOK broke up the pin. Jericho dove on Hobbs on the outside.

Magnus went up the top rope, but Archer cut him off with a knee. He then tossed Magnus on the mat and landed a chokeslam for a near fall. Jericho and Magnus landed a double suplex on Archer, followed by stereo Lionsaults.

With HOOK having a choke on Wardlow, Jericho locked in the Walls of Jericho. Hoobs landed a huge powerslam on Jericho on the outside. He charged at Jericho, who caught him with some sort of fog machine according to Tazz.

Wardlow hit a powerbomb on Dante Martin for the win.

Winner: Wardlow

Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Roderick Strong - for the AEW International Championship

It didn't take long for Strong to target the ribs of Cassidy. He got "OC" in a backdrop position and threw him on top of the barricade.

Strong landed a huge gutwrench with Cassidy's back and ribs crashing on the top turnbuckle.

Cassidy hit Panama Sunrise for a near fall. "OC" set up for the Orange Punch, but Strong caught him for another backbreaker. Strong ran into an Orange Punch, and Cassidy was able to hit Beach Break after initially struggling. Strong got his foot on the ropes during the pin.

Strong countered the Orange Punch into the his finisher for the three.

Winner & New AEW International Champion: Roderick Strong

After the match, Kyle O'Reilly entered the ring and refused the invitation to join Strong, Adam Cole, and The Kingdom. He left the ring in an emotional state.

FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli)

Dax and Claudio engaged in a slap battle. They met in the center of the ring for a strike exchange. The two fell to the mat before Moxley and Cash were tagged in.

Claudio threw Cash to the outside, and Wheeler's ribs crashed right on the corner of the ring apron. Moxley took advantage, sending Cash into the barricade.

Dax was busted open on the outside after being run into the ring post. Dax was tagged in, and the two had their double team move reversed by Claudio. A double team Air Raid Crash landed for Moxley and Claudio.

A double team spike piledriver landed for FTR, but Cash only got a two-count on Moxley. Moxley hit a cutter on Cash, while Claudio caught Harwood in the spin for a near fall.

Moxley was caught in the Shatter Machine, but Claudio pulled Dax out of the ring just in time. Cash went for a suicide dive, but was nailed with a European uppercut. Claudio hit the Neutralizer on Cash on the outside, but Dax hit Claudio with a Piledriver.

Moxley hit Death Rider in the ring, but Dax reversed the pin with one of his own for a two-count. Moxley caught Dax in a choke, while Claudio had Cash in his own choke. Dax was out, and this one is over.

Winners: Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli

Toni Storm (c) vs. Deonna Purrazzo - for the AEW Women's World Championship

Toni was struggling with the mat work of Purrazzo early. She popped the challenger with a forearm in the corner. Deonna went for the Fujiwara armbar, but Storm immediately got her foot on the rope.

Deonna ducked a slap, but Toni kneed her in the gut. Deonna landed a knee to the jaw followed by a Russian Leg Sweep into a Fujiwara armbar. Toni rolled out, but ate a big boot.

Toni landed a hip attack, followed by a DDT for a near fall. Storm locked in the Ankle Lock. Deonna shoved her opponent out of the ring, but Luther caught her. Purrazzo got up the top rope and took out both Toni and the butler.

Deonna made Storm tap out to the Fujiwara armbar, but the referee was distracted by Luther. Deonna knocked Mariah May off the ring apron, but Storm hit a piledriver for the three.

Don Callis made his way out to provide commentary for the next match.

Will Ospreay vs. Konosuke Takeshita

Ospreay slapped Takeshita across the face twice. A hurricanrana was there for Ospreay. Takeshita was eating chops early. He returned fire with a leaping lariat. A superplex landed for Konosuke.

Ospreay dove onto Takeshita on the outside. Back in the ring, Will landed a backdrop. Ospreay hit the ropes, but TakeshitaΒ  sent him crashing to the mat. Takeshita leaped over the top rope onto Ospreay on the floor.

A gnarly looking German suplex landed for Takeshita. Ospreay landed his signature enzuigiri, but Takeshita landed another German suplex. Konosuke ran in, but Ospreay hit him with a Spanish Fly.

A rolling elbow strike from Ospreay sent Takeshita to the ground. Konosuke grabbed the boot of Ospreay and clobbered with him with a massive forearm. Ospreay was firing up, but Takeshita ripped off his own arm pad and nailed Will with a third forearm.

An incredible sequence ended with Ospreay landing the Tiger Driver. He went for the OsCutter, but Takeshita caught him in a spinning Blue Thunder Bomb.

Ospreay ducked a lariat and hit OsCutter for a near fall. Ospreay went for Hidden Blade, but Takeshita decked him for a very close two-count. Takeshita lifted Ospreay for a Suplex, and Will's body hit the turnbuckle and ropes.

Takeshita landed a huge knee, but couldn't put his opponent away. Konosuke dropped the knee pad, but Ospreay caught the knee strike. Slumdog Millionaire hit for Ospreay followed by a reverse hurricanrana.

Takeshita kicked out of the Hidden Blade at one. Ospreay hit the Styles Clash for a two-count.

Tiger Driver '91 hit for Ospreay followed by Hidden Blade for the three. Incredible match.

Winner: Will Ospreay

After the match, Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher entered the ring. Ospreay and Takeshita embraced. Ospreay and Fletcher hugged inside the ring.

Samoa Joe (c) vs. "Hangman" Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland - for the AEW World Championship

Swerve and Page went face-to-face right away, and Joe headbutted both of them. Strickland went high risk, but Joe simply walked away. Joe ducked a clothesline from Page and hit Swerve with a suicide dive.

Page went for a powerbomb on Joe in the corner. He couldn't do it, so Swerve tried. Shockingly, Page and Swerve teamed to powerbomb Joe.

Swerve hit the Swerve Stomp on Joe and then kicked him in the side of the head. With "Hangman" stirring, Strickland hit House Call for a near fall.

Page pulled the referee out of the ring when Swerve was pinning Joe. Page hit Swerve with the AEW title twice. "Hangman" spent too much time talking trash to Swerve. Page hit two Buckshot Lariats on Joe, but by the time a new referee got in, Joe was able to kick out.

Joe reversed Page's third attempt at the Buckshot Lariat with a choke. Swerve went up the top rope and hit a corkscrew to break up the submission. Swerve refused help from Prince Nana. Page attacked referee Bryce Remsburg.Β 

Page hit Buckshot Lariat on Joe. Swerve hit his own Buckshot Lariat on Page. Swerve hit the JML Driver on Page, but Joe planted him and forced Page to tap out with a choke.

Winner & Still AEW World Champion: Samoa Joe

Ric Flair made his way out before the main event. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat was introduced as the special guest time keeper.

Sting & Darby Allin (c) vs. The Young Bucks - for the AEW World Tag Team Championship

Darby wasted little time diving onto The Young Bucks. Sting's sons got in Stinger Splashes on the Bucks.

Sting got in a Scorpion Death Lock on The Young Bucks simultaneously. Sting send Nicholas from the barricade to the outside. Darby landed the Coffin Drop while The Young Bucks were standing on the outside.

Tables and a ladder were involved, as well as glass. Glass was stacked onto a set of chairs. Nicholas landed a Falcon Arrow on Darby from the stage onto tables. Matthew hit a suplex on Sting from the stage onto tables.

Darby was powerbombed onto a ladder. Darby was able to fight off The Young Bucks and landed Code Red. Darby climbed up the ladder and went to take out Nicholas onto the glass, but Matthew pulled his brother out of the way. Cuts were all over Darby's back after he went crashing into what looked to be real glass.

Sting was back in the ring and he put Matthew on a table. He then climbed up the ladder. Matthew put Sting through the table, but "The Icon" got right back up. They sent Sting crashing into glass. Matthew hit a low blow followed by the Scorpion Death Drop. Sting kicked out at two.

Steamboat was attacked on the outside. Flair checked on Sting inside the ring. Flair covered up Sting, so Matthew hit him with one of the AEW World Tag Team Titles, but The Young Bucks kicked him and Steamboat.

Matthew hit Sting with the belt, but Sting kicked out again. The Young Bucks kicked Sting, who responded by hitting them with lariats. Sting hit Scorpion Death Drop on Matthew, but Nicholas broke up the pin. Sting got hit with EVP Trigger, but again Sting kicked out.

Another EVP Trigger hit, and Sting kicked out at one. Another set of superkicks landed for the Bucks. They went for the TK Driver, but Darby shoved Nicholas onto tables. Sting hit Scorpion Death Drop on Matthew for a near fall.

Darby hit Coffin Drop on Matthew, and Sting locked in the Scorpion Death Lock for the win!

Winners & Still AEW World Tag Team Champions: Sting and Darby Allin

After the match, Sting thanked the fans and Ric Flair. He said he'll never forget this night. He called Darby Allin the greatest tag team partner he's ever had. Sting's speech wasn't finished until after the PPV ended.
