Bo Nickal was a guest on a recent edition of Michael Bisping's "Believe You Me" podcast. During the show, Nickal expressed his desire to fight Khamzat Chimaev on a grand stage.
"I just think what better way to, I don't even say culminate a career, but to just have a milestone than to compete against a guy who everybody is afraid of, who has so much hype and so much excitement, and honestly is just that good. He's backed it up with every single performance that he's had. He's performed incredibly, and a lot of people aren't interested in fighting him for whatever reason. I want to be that guy."
Nickal proceeded to get bold when talking about the magnitude of a potential matchup with Chimaev.
"Allegiant Stadium, 70,000 people or whatever in the crowd, me vs. Khamzat, USA vs. Russia," Nickal said. "I think that there's just no better story in MMA right now than that."
