Ikram Aliskerov called out Bo Nickal for his next fight, after knocking out Phil Hawes at UFC 288 on May 8.

The Dagestani martial artist responded to comments made by Nickal, where the American claimed he wanted to show Dagestani fighters "what real wrestling is."

"Hey, Bo Nickal, brother, I heard you say you want to fight with Dagestan guy. Hey bro I am here. I'll be ready. He say he want to fight with Dagestan guy, I am here. We need to watch --- whose wrestling is better?!"

Aliskerov doubled down on his callout during the UFC 288 post-fight presser, where he told MMAFighting:

"We'll have to wait and see what the UFC decides, but you know I know this guy, I have nothing but respect for him and I know he's a great wrestler. But, he said that he wants to fight a wrestler from Dagestan, and he wants to show a Dagestani what wrestling really is. So you know what? I'm ready to be that Dagestani that he fights and we'll see whose  wrestling is better.
