Brock Lesnar Removed From WWE 2K24 Cover Amid Janel Grant's Lawsuit
Brock Lesnar has been removed from WWE 2K24 promo material, as the effort to scrub his name from WWE branding continues.
The first gameplay footage of WWE 2K24 just dropped, and with it comes an advertisement for both the standard and Forty Years of WrestleMania editions of the video game. Fans have already taken notice of one key omission from the cover of the special edition of the game.
Brock Lesnar is nowhere to be found.
Major Update On Brock Lesnar's WWE Future Amid Serious Vince McMahon Allegation
As pointed out by pro wrestling journalist Andrew Ravens, Lesnar, who was initially on the cover of the WWE 2K24 Forty Years of WrestleMania version, has now been removed from the artwork.
Lesnar was reportedly scheduled to be a participant in the 2024 men's Royal Rumble match last month. Plans changed when a Wall Street Journal report claimed the former multiple-time WWE champion was the unnamed wrestler involved in the disturbing allegations against former WWE boss Vince McMahon.
It's alleged that McMahon sent explicit photos and video of former WWE employee Janel Grant to Lesnar upon his request. Grant is suing McMahon, former WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis, and WWE for sexual abuse and sex trafficking.
Lesnar has already been removed from the WWE Supercard mobile game. There has reportedly been strong doubt within the company when it comes to Brock ever being welcomed back to the company given the severity of Janel Grant's accusations.
Several reports have indicated that efforts are being made to remove Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon from WWE 2K24 entirely.
