Rather than promoting the debut of 'The Ultimate Fighter' season 31, Conor McGregor has opted to insult the well-known UFC veteran Matt Brown.

Brown, 42, hit out at McGregor during an interview with Michael Bisping on May 27, where he alleged that McGregor was a "f***ing bum," and that he was either "getting coked up," or "juiced out of his mind":

"[McGregor is] a nobody in my opinion. He was amazing --- I give him props for everything he did. At this point he's a bum. 

"Everything you see is him drinking, or getting coked up, or you know, he's juiced out of his mind. That's f***ing bum life, to me. All that money don't make you not a bum .... When you step in the cage you're a f***ing bum."

McGregor replied to Brown in a deleted Tweet on May 30, where he directly referred to Brown's history with heroin addiction:

"The Notorious" followed up with a video of Brown being knocked out by Donald Cerrone in their bout at UFC 206, with the caption "Ya'll wanna see a dead body?"

Matt Brown Replies to McGregor's "Heroin Addict" Tweets

In response to McGregor's deleted Tweet, Brown replied, "*former user* vs current coke addict let's go!"

Minutes later, Brown Tweeted again to reply to the Cerrone video:

"This guy woke up, did a bump, and started tweeting. I love it. I don't know how to post gifs and shit wouldn't be hard to find one of him getting his face smashed in lol."
