Dana White Destroys Fan Who Called Him A "Sellout" Over UFC-Bud Light Deal
UFC CEO Dana White has roasted a troll online, who criticized the Bud Light deal.
When the UFC announced that Bud Light would once again be the official beer sponsor of the promotion effective January 1, 2024, it garnered backlash from a small group of people who insisted they have boycotted Anheuser-Busch for being too "woke." White fired back at critics, saying that Anheuser-Busch spent $44 million to support the families of fallen service men and women, and says the company's core values are right up his alley.
The backlash with UFC-Bud Light deal stems from the beer's company's ad campaign featuring transgender TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney. The mostly conservative complainers insisted that Bud Light was trying to push a "woke" agenda.
Dana White Responds To Backlash Over Bud Light-UFC Deal: "Nobody Tells Me What To Say"
Still, when it comes to politics people believe what they want to. Some conservative figures and social media users continue to hound Dana over the sponsorship deal. One user, however, found out the hard way that Dana White doesn't care about the "boycott."
During a recent Q&A session on Instagram, Dana was accused of being a sellout over the deal. The UFC boss responded in the exact fashion seasoned MMA fans would expect.
"'Bud Light sellout,' oh who's this guy? Somebody called me a Bud Light sellout," White said. "First of all, f*** you. Let's start there, okay. Take a look at Anheuser-Busch and what they do before you open your big f****** yap, and mind your own f****** business. How bout that too?"
In short, don't expect the UFC brass to bend to those who continue to try to cancel Bud Light and Anheuser-Busch.
