Daniel Cormier is aware of Jon Jones wanting his no contest ruling over him at UFC 214 to change amid the UFC's split from USADA.

Cormier and Jones last collided back in July 2017. This was a rematch for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. Jones won their first meeting via unanimous decision. Their second fight initially ended in a third-round finish for "Bones." That result was changed to a no contest, however, after Jones popped for Turinabol.

Jones has long maintained his innocence, while Cormier has not been sold that "Bones" was clean. It's led to even more animosity between the two.

UFC CHAMPION JON JONES REACTS TO ASTONISHING USADA SPLIT: "MAN, I SURVIVED"

Recently, USADA CEO Travis Tygart dropped a bombshell, announcing the anti-doping agency would no longer be partnered with the UFC. Jon Jones celebrated the news on his X account, calling for his 2017 clash with Cormier to be changed back to a victory.

In a new video posted on his YouTube channel, Daniel Cormier questioned if the legacies of fighters who were flagged during the USADA era will be tainted.

"You could try to rewrite history, it'll be like during baseball there was the steroid era, and all those guys don't get to go into the Hall of Fame," Cormier said. "[Barry] Bonds and [Roger] Clemens and Sammy [Sosa] and Mark McGwire, like those guys don't go into the Hall of Fame every year. When we look back on 2015 to 2023 as the USADA era, and will these guys that had these things deal with issues going forward in terms of tainting their resume? Especially, if someone that is middling now becomes an absolute superstar after USADA is gone from the UFC."

Addressing Jones, specifically, Cormier said that the UFC heavyweight champion is trying to change what has already been set in stone.

"Let me say this, you don't get to rewrite history," Cormier said. "First off, I don't believe that it's all true, and this is one of the reasons that Jones and I could never truly just come to a common ground because sometimes you just say whatever you want."
