Devin Haney's bid for 140-pound gold will be on full display tonight (December 9) when he meets Regis Prograis.

Prograis is the reigning WBC junior welterweight champion. Haney had been the undisputed lightweight champion of boxing, but he decided to vacate his gold in order to challenge Prograis. Haney has said that he ultimately wants to win a world championship at 147 pounds after the Prograis fight.

It's a golden opportunity for Prograis to not only play spoiler, but to prove he's still the boogeyman of the junior welterweight division. Prograis' stock dropped after a lackluster performance against Danielito Zorrilla back in June. Prograis hopes to have his "Y'all Must've Forgot" moment inside the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.

Haney is coming off a performance that had some controversy. Back in May, Haney defeated Vasiliy Lomachenko to retain the undisputed lightweight gold. Some felt that Lomachenko was robbed of a win, while others viewed it as a close fight but "The Dream" was the rightful winner.

It'll be interesting to see how Haney and Prograis look after their most recent performances. The big question for Haney is, can he look impressive against a tough Prograis? Haney is the betting favorite and if he is on point tonight, he won't be short on options for his next opponent. As for Prograis, he'll need to make this one a dog fight, which he was unable to do in his narrow win against Zorrilla.

The main card of the Devin Haney vs. Regis Prograis event will air live on DAZN PPV in the United States at 8 p.m. ET. The asking price for the PPV is $59.99 for DAZN subscribers.

There will be a free live stream of the prelims, however. The live feed of the prelims will begin at 6 p.m. ET and you can catch the action below:
