Henry Cejudo Makes Bold Prediction For Conor McGregor vs. Justin Gaethje

Cejudo with a bold statement on the matchup.

Henry Cejudo thinks he knows how a UFC bout between Conor McGregor and Justin Gaethje would play out.

Gaethje appears to be in prime position for a shot at the UFC Lightweight Championship. The current titleholder is Islam Makhachev, who will be defending his gold against Charles Oliveira in a rematch at UFC 294 on October 21 in Abu Dhabi.

While Gaethje has made it clear that he wants to make one last run at the undisputed UFC lightweight title, Conor McGregor has been vocal about his belief that he'd sleep "The Highlight." It's left many to wonder if Gaethje should take a lucrative fight with the "Notorious" one.

One man who believes Gaethje should fight McGregor is former UFC bantamweight and flyweight titleholder Henry Cejudo. "Triple C" uploaded a video on his YouTube channel, and in the clip he gives Gaethje advice on what to do next.

"Justin Gaethje has two options," Cejudo said. "We all want the world title, we're all chasing for that, but in this situation I think Conor McGregor is a great matchup for Justin Gaethje. You got millions and millions of dollars on the line if you fight Conor McGregor. Justin, if I had to choose something, whether I want a UFC [title] around my waist or about 10 million dollars, guess what? I'm going for the 10 million."

Cejudo is confident that Gaethje would make short work of McGregor.

"At 155 pounds, I can see you stopping Conor McGregor within the first two minutes," Cejudo said.

Speculation has run rampant on what Conor McGregor will do next. He has yet to re-enter the USADA testing pool, and some are questioning if he'll go through with plans for a Michael Chandler bout.
