WWE Rumors: Massive Update On Jade Cargill's Status Following 2024 Royal Rumble
Some rumblings have been going on in regards to the WWE future of Jade Cargill.
Cargill made a huge splash when she entered the women's Royal Rumble match as the 28th entrant last month. She ended up lifting Nia Jax for a scoop slam and tossing her over the top rope for perhaps the most memorable elimination in the entire match. While Cargill fell short of winning, there is no doubt that her debut couldn't have gone much better.
So, what's next for Jade after her impressive showing?
Per PWInsider, there is talk backstage that Jade Cargill could be appearing on the WWE SmackDown brand in the buildup to WrestleMania 40. This might come as a surprise to some, given a showdown with Jax appeared to be teased during the Rumble match. Nia is on the WWE Raw brand.
WWE has been taking the slow approach with bringing Cargill along to the main roster, but she has been able to maintain her buzz and mystique. It'll be interesting to see what her first major program will be and how much of a role she'll play into this year's two-night WrestleMania event.
It's also unclear at this time whether or not Jade will be pushed as a babyface or a heel. While she has the backing of the fans, Jade played the heel role throughout her run at AEW.
