Joe Rogan has weighed in on UFC 296 fighter Tony Ferguson training with David Goggins.

Many within the MMA community have thrown in their two cents on the videos that have surfaced of "El Cucuy" and Goggins working together. Goggins is a retired U.S. Navy SEAL who is known for his motivational speaking and his intense workout routine.

Goggins certainly has discipline, and Ferguson felt this pairing could light a spark he's been missing during his six-fight losing streak. "El Cucuy" is hoping that it'll pay off for his UFC 296 battle against Paddy Pimblett on December 16.

Some prominent MMA names such as UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier have chimed in on the Ferguson-Goggins pairing. Many believe that while Ferguson will be in great shape, they aren't sold on the training benefitting him inside the Octagon. One popular argument is that Ferguson may be overtraining.

During an episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," Rogan explained how working with Goggins could actually benefit Ferguson in one aspect of the fight game.

"There's a lot of very mixed reviews about whether or not that would be a good thing or a bad thing for him," Rogan said. "Look, clearly when the two of them are training together Dave is not struggling at all, and Tony is struggling. So, there is definitely some ground to gain when it comes to endurance. Dave is not even tired."
