BREAKING: Major UFC Middleweight Fight Set For April 2024
Fight fans are gearing up for a massive UFC bout in the middleweight division.
The UFC's middleweight division received quite a shock when Sean Strickland pulled off an upset unanimous decision victory over Israel Adesanya back in September 2023. Many felt the tide had shifted in the 185-pound weight class in a big way.

That brings us to the big UFC middleweight clash on the way for a UFC Fight Night card. Marvin Vettori will collide with Brendan Allen on April 6, the UFC announced. Allen, who is ranked number eight at 185 pounds, wanted a top five opponent and he is getting his wish. Vettori sits at the number five spot on the official UFC middleweight rankings.
Vettori is hoping he won't be used as a stepping stone and fall further down the middleweight division. He's coming off a unanimous decision loss against Jared Cannonier, but he did snag "Fight of the Night" honors. Vettori remains a solid test for Allen, and fight fans might be in for a good one.
Allen has been red hot, riding a six-fight winning streak. You'll have to go back to late 2021 to find "All In's" last defeat, which was an upset against Chris Curtis. Since that loss, Allen has been on a tear defeating the likes of Paul Craig, Bruno Silva, and Andre Muniz.
This pivotal middleweight matchup will be held inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Some fans may not be happy about that, as this is a bout that deserves a crowd.
